Connacht Rugby has announced an extended partnership agreement with Rhino Rugby Ireland.
The new three-year deal will see Rhino Rugby continue as the official ball and equipment supplier to the club.
The partnership is not only great news for the professional set-up but also for the club and community game within the province.
Rhino Rugby is offering all Connacht clubs and schools the opportunity to avail of heavily-discounted prices on balls and equipment over the duration of the partnership.
Further to this, Rhino Rugby together with Connacht Rugby are offering all mini sections within clubs across the province a Junior Tackle Doughnut to help drive awareness of, and aid coaches in teaching, safe tackle techniques.
Commenting on the new partnership, Connacht rugby sponsorship manager Gavin Duffy said:
"It's hugely important that the players at pro level train with the best balls and equipment available so we are delighted to be extending our partnership with Rhino Rugby Ireland."
Lyndon Jones, Connacht Rugby club support manager said:
"Rhino are very aware of our grassroots game and we are delighted to be combining with them to offer the free junior tackle doughnut to our clubs mini sections. This piece of equipment will be a great additional training tool to teach safe tackling techniques to our youngest players."
Barry Brennan, director of Rhino Rugby Ireland, added: "Rhino Rugby Ireland is very pleased to extend its partnership with Connacht Rugby for a further three years.
"Connacht has made tremendous progress in the past three years under Pat Lam and Rhino looks forward to partnering with them to deliver further success in the coming years.
"Rhino is the global leader in the provision of training equipment and is particularly committed to supporting the club and community game by making the Junior Tackle Doughnut available to all the clubs across Connacht."
